I took all these picture in the center of Bordeaux, in the south west of France. All of them have been taken in a short perimeter, particularly in the Sainte Catherine street where many vices of consumerist society come to my eyes.

 

The order of the images is carefully chosen : I try to tell the story of an individualistic world by a compilation of urban scenes which are, in my opinion, revealing a true reality. In the street, I adopt an observer eye and I often see apathy, unfairness and conflict.

 

The city is a wide space where millions of humans, all different, are living together, close to each others. I am interested in these relations, distorted by our occidental culture.

 

Last but not least, when I speak about love, it is in the wide sense of the feeling, and its decline.
